Handspun Friday - FCK - London Fog

I'm really late with my blog post today, but it's not entirely my fault. Blogger was down for some time. Anyway, I've got my FatCatKnits SAL fiber all spun up. The reason why I've finished it so early in the month is, because I had this colorway in my stash already. So no long waiting for it to arrive in the mail.
I really like this colorway, but kind of regret having it on variegated BFL. I do love variegated fibers, but just this time, I wish I had it on some white fiber, so the colors would not be so muted.

London Fog

fiber: dyed by FatCatKnits, colorway London Fog, variegated BFL, 4oz
yarn: 272yds, chain plied

I love the colors on the fiber, hated it on the bobbin before plying, and liked the finished yarn, even though it's muted. It might surprise me again, when knit up.

I've been spinning more than knitting lately. It comes in waves.

I want to share this hilarious video with you. Maybe you know it already, but I just saw it yesterday for the first time.

Your yarn is beautiful ~ I can see that will be very elegant knit up. I saw that video yesterday too. I had a good belly laugh at his reaction to hearing the bacon was eaten.

I like those muted colors a lot. I think that yarn will knit up beautifully.
