What's your favorite flavour?

Regular, Ketchup, BBQ, or Jalapeno?

Mine is Thorpe, because, lets face it, you can't knit just one!

Thorpe

free pattern: Thorpe by Kirsten

yarn: red and green hats: Gedifra Fashion Trend color # 4533 and # 4567 size: large for red hat, M for green hat

black hat: Patons Shetland Tweeds Chunky, charcoal, size: M

needles: 5 DP - 5.00mm

start-finish: Jan. 24 -26

This is an absolute fun hat to knit. I could easily knit one every day for the rest of my life!

The black hat is on its way to Hannah, with other goodies. I love to put together care packages.

We had a wonderful weather today. The pictures were taken around 10AM. The dogs had a blast in the snow. Biko lost her tennis ball in the ditch, to be found after the big snow melt. Sam didn't help her this time, he was too busy chewing his dilapidated red ball. Because we had +4C the snow was heavy and perfect for snow balls. The icicles are all gone now, at least on the sunny side of the house. Out front, they are still growing.

PS Ann left a note, that she's got the "Knitting for Good" book, and finished reading it. She'll blog about it tomorrow, and whoever would like to have a chance to get it, please go to her blog and leave her a comment. I'm excited to see where it will go next!!! :o)

Monika, the book arrived, just as I was leaving town for a week. I have read it. Will blog it tomorrow. Thank you for the opportunity!

those icicles are beautiful, but be safe as it starts to melt. we had some almost fall on us (there were reports around town of people being injured by them).

love the hats! think it'd be easy to do in baby size?

I love all three, but my favorite is "regular"!

Oh the green hat of course!! Though it is an excellent pattern, thanks for the link.
There are Sam and Biko in the snow and here we are, well two days ago, with 39*C or almost 103*F, hottest day for 100 years and we were soooooo hot. From the sublime(your temperature) to the ridiculous(ours!!)
Hi Biko and Sam from Harki and Peri!!

Also, ich nehme entweder eine in grün mit schwarzem Rand oder schwarz mit grünem Rand. Kannst du dir aussuchen :-))

Mine has to be Bar-B-Que...would be a good Southern girl unless I voted for BarBQue.
Too funny that Biko lost her tennis ball and needed Sam to help; but to wait until the thaw????? If Sunny lost her tennis ball, she would search until the thaw to find it. There would be no coming back into the house without it, even if we had to excavate the entire yard. Poor girl has some OCD issues. LOL!
We may get snow tonight, but the temps are riding a roller coaster, 18*F Sat, 61*Sun., 47* today, 20* tomorrow. Don't think we will have any accumulation.

I tried my hands on that pattern once too but ran out of yarn, so my thorpe has no ear flaps, but it's still nice and warm.

I'll take jalepeno, please! I know you like green so you will appreciate that I have met someone who drives a GREEN car - LOL

That hat is fantastic - I'm actually hoping it will work with some stash yarn of mine because I SO NEED a hat with ear flaps :)

Lovely pics in the snow - wishing we were having a Winter here :(

Love your hats! You could certainly keep lots of heads warm if you knit one every day!! I bet you might get tired of it if you did do one every day though!

Great hats! and I agree, I made 3 last year, it WAS hard to stop :^)
I really like your colour combinations. The 'kids' sure have fun in their snow :^)

Aren't Thorpes wonderful? Easy to make and fun to wear. The dogs look like they'll miss the snow when it's gone. :-)

I pick the green hat with the red trim. My second choice is the red with green trim. Oh...they're all lovely. Nice job

Love the thorpe hats! That pattern has been in my Ravelry queue for ages and I've never got around to knittig one. I'll have to remedy that soon ...

I love the hats! I can't decide which is my favorite. Maybe all of them. I've wanted to knit this for a long time and now you've puched me over the edge. I'll have to start one as soon as I finish the scarf I'm working on.
