Coastal Waters Shawl

test knit Coastala Waters shawl

Sometimes I don't remember whether I have shown you something or not, because it's been a while since I've finished it and moved on, especially if I had already posted it on ravelry. I think I was waiting for the pattern to come out to show you this shawl.

I was one of the test knitters, but I'm afraid I did not stick to the end. Nevertheless, others did a fine job, and now Preita Salyer was able to release her Coastal Waters shawl pattern!

It's a beautiful shawl, with slip stitches. Something different, and interesting to knit for sure.

pattern: Coastal Waters shawl by Preita Salyer
yarn: Wandering Cat Yarns Alley Cat in the colors Budgie (I loved this one, it's the lighter color), and Canbean II.
needles: 3.75mm
size after blocking: 29" x 56" (I did modify it, and knit only half the repeats of pattern 4, but added a garter ridge border instead).

I blocked the edge pointy, but it could easily have been just straight.
