I'll show you before and after pictures, but I wanted to share this photo as well. That's as far as they've gotten yesterday (Day 1), before it started to rain too heavily to continue. It rained all night, but not any more, as I got up at 4:30AM.
We knew that there were bunnies living under the sunroom floor, and we already saw two nests, and they've only begun to remove the floor. Too bad, now they have to go look for another place to live. At least the young ones from this spring are all out of the nest already.
We have a major busy weekend ahead of us, with the window/door guys coming on Monday.

PS edited later in the morning: the worker have resumed their work, and we've been SKUNKED! There was a family of skunks under the rest of the floor, and those dumb skunks didn't move out over night! They've moved to the shed now, and animal control can get them.

Oh.. your back yard looks as sad as ours... Poor little bunnies - hope they find a new shelter :)
fun! I always loved the taking down bit!
Oh it is a bit sad to see things torn down, but the new building up will be so wonderful!!
Rabbits here are vermin, we tried Mixamytosis and the calicivirus but they just won't die.
That looks like a lot of work was done for the first day. Looking forward to more pictures of the new construction. I bet Happy and Denny can hardly wait until this is all over. ;)
Oh Wow! That is some serious reno! I hope it goes well for you
Hoo boy, what a mess! But just think how great it will be when it's all done. Funny you didn't know there were skunks under the deck because... well, they tend to make themselves know. Good that they'll be moved.
Bunnies AND skunks? Lots going on underneath the sunroom floor.
Can't wait to see the new version of Chez Vous.
Wow! There was a zoo under your house and merciful heaven, the skunks found the renovators and NOT the dogs! Whew!
Oh dear. I could share our "renovation" project experience, but I don't want to scare you - LOL Keeping my fingers crossed that the worst it gets is the skunks ;)
