A couple of days ago I finished the circle crochet scarf. It was fun to do, and in the end even my hands didn't hurt as much anymore. Being crochet though, it IS a little stiffer, than knitted fabric. I put it around my neck, and it felt lovely, but heavy. I've used another colorway of Elann's Endless Summer Luna, not "my" color, but it's going to be a gift anyway. Making this scarf made me want to do another crochet project, and there are already a few on my to-do list.
pattern: Circle Crochet Scarf by Michelle Gibbs (you'll find it on ravelry or on her blog)
yarn: 4.25 balls/ 463.25yds of Endless Summer Luna, 57% Viscose 43% cotton
hook: G 4mm
size: 5.5" x 56"

I think you're the first finished scarf. I love that shade of pink! I'm glad it's cozy, but that's too bad about the weight. Hopefully the recipient likes it. :-)
I am so sorry to read about Biko! I hope the surgery will help her and that she will be better soon.
The scarf looks lovely!
It's adorable. I love the little heart pillows too!
beautiful!
I'm absolutely certain that the intended recipient will adore this lovely crochet scarf!
Beautiful scarf - I love pink :)
And I do hope Biko gets well soon!
The scarf is so pretty and girlie!
I'm glad Biko isn't serious and I hope she's a new pup after next Thursday!
That's such an interesting stitch pattern -- I like the end result a lot. I think it's amazing how different knit and crochet seem even though they're so similar.
Toll ist er geworden, dein Haekelschal.
Muster und Farbe sind genau mein Geschmack.

So pretty!
What a nice project for Febuary. I like the pink color. It looks very feminine.
The scarf is beautiful!
Very pretty and just in time for Valentine's Day :)
it is really lovely.
Very nice! Too bad I can't crochet.
Liebe Monika,
der Schal ist wunderschön. Es gibt schon wirklich ausgefallene Muster beim Häkeln. Dieses hier gefällt mir ganz besonders gut.
Wieder mal eine tolle Arbeit. Wie geht's Deinen Handgelenken? Du wirst doch bestimmt zur Entspannung lieber wieder was stricken, nicht wahr?
Liebe Grüße und bis bald
Susanne
The pink scarf looks so Valentiny. I might have to try it with my recently developed crochet skills.
The scarf urned out very nice! DId you make the litle hearts too?
It's gorgeous!! I just found the pattern and I'm going to try it. I'm sorry about Biko... I hope the surgery helps!
That scarf is absolutely gorgeous, I adore the colour too, nice blog :)
Dear Monika:
I trust you will soon be better for Biko, certainly everything will be well.
The scarf and small heart pillows are lovely.
Hugs for Biko, Sam and you.
Lovely scarf! I think I'll just have to queue that!
I would love to find this pattern...can't find it. Thanks
