Handspun Friday - Velvet Forest

Some spinner I am! I didn't realize that this fiber was roving until I was done spinning it. This is 4oz Corriedale roving, dyed by FatCatKnits.

I made this 3-ply yarn, 280yds. I LOVE it!

Denny looks ready for a role in Pride and Prejudice, where they dance in the hall!! It is beautiful wool, I am always amazed at how wonderfully clever you are!!
Oh, did anyone play with him??

Sigh. Velvet Forrest ~ just lovely. You ought to join in the fun too ~ they could all chase you around the yard with much delight :)

I love the color of your new yarn, reminds me of a color I spun a few years ago. Is it soft? I haven't had any luck with corriedale.

That Denny ... he's quite a character!

Ooh... I love it too! I'm always drawn to green. Looks like Jan was a good handspun month for you.

I really like the Corridale yarns. They're pretty awesome.

And your spinning is gorgeous. I didn't think I'd like that fiber when it was spun, but you did a lovely job. Can't wait to see it knit!
