I too ask: What did you do during Earth hour?
(Don't know what Earth Hour means?)
After a busy day, I choose to do NOTHING. Just lit a candle, sat and relaxed. I didn't even have the radio on, nor TV. How often do you do nothing on purpose for an hour? It's really not that long.
I was alone, since DH spent his day in Venice, Italy: March 29, that's how it looked over there today. I wonder if the Venetian participated as well?

We just chilled as well for the hour. It was nice doing nothing but hanging out with the pups.
This is the first I've heard about Earth hour...I suppose that's what happens when you live in a no-tv, no-news, no-radio environment.
I didn't know about earth hour, but if I did and I sat doing nothing for an hour I'd most definitely fall asleep :)
I was alone too :) Well me and the dogs and Sockies.
I knit by candlelit :)
Wow, I hadn't heard about it, either! Oh, well -- we were still at work at the time, from how it sounds.
Hope Biko continues to improve!
Liebe Monika,
Was habe ich verpasst? Bitte klär mich auf.
Meine neue E-Mail-Adresse findest Du in meinem Blog oben links.
Ich wünsche Dir eine tolle Woche, bis bald
Susanne
And another one checking in who has no clue.
But, since I finally got back heat yesterday I think I spent an hour just relaxing.
Not shivering, just relaxing.
Didn't you read or anything??? I would find that very hard to do (obviously I did not participate) but admire those that did!
Nothing was on at my house really except for the fridge, freezer, y'kow, "necessary" stuff. I had to drive to the city (1.5 hours away) to get hubby, unexpectedly. Our big rig broke down for the second weekend in a row. I am not big on driving any distance at all, so I wasn't impressed about having to go fetch him two weekends in a row. (That, and the repair bills!)
We sort of did it. Turned off the TV and laptops and left on one light to read by. 8pm was just too early to go to bed.
Hello! Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. I read your blog all the time, but I'm a bit lazy when it comes to leaving comments ;)
I bought Tor on a Norwegian blog called Hildes skattekammer(I think). She hasn't got any horses there at the moment, but she might make more if someone ask for it :) Tor is my favorite man at the moment(well, my only man actually..) ;D
Have a nice day(oh, and I haven't heard of Earth hour either..)
The boys and I played chutes and ladders by candlelight - it was so fun we're thinking of having an Earth Hour on a regular basis!
I knit by candlelight , while DH took a snooze . I enjoyed the quietness, good for the soul .
Hmm...I knew about earth day, but not earth hour... Wow, your DH is lucky he was in Venice! He should have brought you too!
