"The Tiger Story!" or "How Sam mustered his courage!"

Some time ago I brought home two "new" used stuffed animals for Sam and Biko. I was not even through the door, when Biko stuck her head into the bag and pulled out this Tiger, and dragged it into the living room. Sam got a white bear, which he loves and hides, and takes with him, when we go to bed. Of course he was also interested in the little Tiger, but as long as Biko was around, he didn't dare take it. Once Biko had enough she left. For a minute or two Sam played it cool, didn't even look at the Tiger.

Suddenly, with one swift snap he's got it,

dragged it over and chewed on it a little bit.

and finally looked smug into my camera. Triumph! ;o)

In the meantime Biko couldn't care less.
She's not limping any more. Both are quite well at the moment, knock on wood. I think it was a pinched nerve or something. After David manipulated her leg, and pulled it (gently) out front, she yelped and after that the limping stopped.

Doggy chiropractic. Perfect! Glad it worked. No fun when one of the kids is limping around the house. :)

How cute that they have their own stuffed animals! Biko looks beautiful all curled up in that pic.

Cute, Cute, Cute. Good for Sam and good for Biko. Sounds like both your babies are thriving. Wolfie sleeps like that, too. It is so dear.

Oh, I'm glad to hear Biko is better!

And that is too cute with Sam and the Tiger.

Your traveling socks look great!

I love all the dog pictures! I'm surprised that the stuffed tiger is in such good shape. If it were in my house it would have been de-stuffed by now. :)

OK I don't know how you did it, or why they do it, but those stuffed animals wouldn't last 15 seconds if I gave one to IdaMae. She seems to think that anything I give her is to be either consumed or torn apart. She is a good dog though, she won't "steal" anything and chew it up except my socks of course. :0(

My cat Pagan does a similar thing with her toys. She plays with it for a while, then pretends to ignore it. When the other cat makes a move towards the toy, whammo! Pagan swats her and takes off with the toy again. It's a weird little power gams she plays.

I love that first picture: "Nothing happening here, nope. Nothing to see...just go sit by the window in the other room"

Ich finde Deine Fotos von den Hunden einfach nur schön. Ich kann sie mir immer wieder anschauen. Schön, dass Biko jetzt auch wieder fit ist.
