My third WIP!

Well, I couldn't just have two WIP's in the works. Here's a glimpse of my third WIP. I've been wanting to knit entrelac socks for quite some time now. This is the cuff of the first sock. This is the easy part. It'll get interesting around the heel again. The color is "Angel" by sweetgeorgia. Oh, I almost forgot, this is my second try, because the first time the sock turned out too big. That's exactley the length I had, before I ripped it all out again.

Sam, this morning, drugged with pain killers. The hind leg you can see, is the one where he had knee surgery in March. The recovery was long, but he had a good summer/fall until now. For some reason he likes to lie on his bad leg. The pain killers make him sedate, which is good, since he shouldn't be moving anyway. He still got his appetite though! ;o)

I have never done intralac either - your socks are going to be so cool!I love the grey/red combo. What pattern are you using?

You are very brave for knitting entrelac socks! I remember learning entrelac many years ago. It take a whole lot of concentration. They are beautiful! (did you know it is very hard to key with a lap dog sitting on your shoulder) Hugs to Sam!

Oh, poor Sam. Sending hugs to him.

I'm taking my arthritic dog to the vet tomorrow and hope that something can be done for him. There's nothing worse than seeing a playful dog unable to play.

Best of luck to Sam! I hope he gets better soon!
Those entrelac socks are fabulous!

Poor Sam! But he'll be on the mend soon.

Nice socks! I've barely managed garter entrelac on dishcloths but the socks look like they'll be fabulous.

Your sock looks great Monika! I love the colors! Actually because entrelac biases the author suggests you go down a needle size or two from what you would normally use.(I know this because I used to be on a list with her and asked her directly!) I'm using Lorna's Laces and I'd usually get 8 sts/inch on a 2.25mm...for the entrelac I'm using a 2.0mm AND I've decreased some stitches. Like you said, I'm sure they'll fit someone but you do have to make some mods if you want them to fit like your "usual" socks!

Poor little Sam! But at least the painkillers work, this is a good thing already - all the very best to him!
I love how your entrelac socks are coming along - I've always wanted to tried my hands at entrelac but so far haven't found the courage to do so - looking forward to seeing yours when they're finished!
