What's the best way to tackle a big bone?
That's the way to do it!

Look how happy his tail is!!! That's a big bone, he is very dedicated!! Pretty spinning as always!!
ReplyDeleteMonica, could you put a "reference" object (pencil or penny or something) in one of your finished yarn photographs so I could see just how fine your singles are before chain plying? I'm a big fan of the dogs and their antics, but you got me inspired to improve my spinning.
ReplyDeleteDenny is such a clown!! Have a great weekend, Monika!
ReplyDeleteI am obsessed with looking closely at N-ply right now since I just spun my 1st last week - I went to flickr and made your pics huge - you are an amazing spinner! I need some Spinach Souffle!
ReplyDeletethat bone is just too funny.
ReplyDeleteI love those natural, woodsy colors! I'm using brighter versions of similar colors currently for a baby blanket for our future little one: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/sjn821/ten-stitch-blanket-2. The photo of Denny was a hoot!
ReplyDeleteLove the yarn but love the dog even more. You go after that mondo bone Denny!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like a dinosaur bone!
ReplyDeleteYum, spinach souffle. I have to say, your spun yarn is much prettier than the food version.
Beautiful handspun. Love Denny!
ReplyDeleteAdorable!
ReplyDeleteDenny looks as if he has lost some weight? Hope it doesn't make him even more frisky!!!
ReplyDeleteOooh Denny looks so happy!
ReplyDeleteHugs to him.
And I have a new email: ikki@litsa.fi
Spinach is not my favorite vegetable but your yarn is very pretty!
ReplyDeleteYours, Julia
That Denny is a hoot!!! Where on earth did you find a monster bone like that??? Mine won't touch rawhide bones anymore and I have no idea why.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful spinning ~ the best way to enjoy spinach ;)
Again, didn't think I'd like that fiber when spun up, but it's gorgeous! Love that.
ReplyDeleteDenny and the bone... dogs are so awesome.
