Meanwhile, thanks to all your well wishes my left hand is MUCH better. I'm still giving it some more rest, and try to do the same for my right hand, since it's the one picking up the slack from my left hand. I've tried a little spinning over the weekend, with many breaks, but didn't even think of picking up the sticks. Hook and granny square are packed away for whenever. So sad.
Well, as promised I've still some FO's to show you. This is Hattie's Rose Garden scarf, made in October/November 2009! Oy!
I've received this lovely yarn from Bea as a gift for test knitting some socks for her. She's got a new and wonderful sock design coming up soon, but I'm not going to be able to test knit this time. Another sad.
Scarves dent to get boring, just because they are so long! This one kept me going because I was looking forward to dropping stitches on purpose. :o) In the end I had to fight each and every stitch down the ladder, but I showed them who's boss! Very satisfying to do so.

I like how the dark color zig-zagged throughout the scarf. It's a lovely scarf, and a fun knit.

I found that scarf to be a slow go. I'm tempted to try it again in brighter colours, though.
schön, dass deine Hand so langsam besser wird. Und - keine Angst, ich bin schon wieder am Entwerfen.
Allerdings ist das Thema "Widder" (mein Sternzeichen) - das passt nicht zu jedem. Auf Halde hab ich noch den Krebs (Sternzeichen von GöGa).
Der Schal ist sehr schön geworden. Hält das Muster zusammen, wenn man dazwischen Maschen fallenlässt oder leiern die Mustermaschen neben den Fallmaschen mit der Zeit aus? *grübel*

Dieses Tuch sieht wunderbar aus und macht Sehnsucht nach einer Zeit in der es ausreicht ein Tuch über den Schultern zu tragen.(uns hat der Winter immer noch fest in seinem Griff)
Das Muster erinnert mich ein wenig an den Coin-Clapotis der schon seit Ewigkeiten auf meiner Liste steht. Aber auch gerade gestrickt hat das Muster was besonderes.

Lovely scarf! I knitted a drop-stitch scarf a few years ago - my first ever scarf and the first time venturing away from flat, seamed beanies (!?!). It was just plain stocking stitch which suited my capabilities at the time! It was fun watching the stitches run (once I got over the initial panic), until I realised that the way I'd cast on meant those stitches were unravelling too! Fortunately mum saved it ;-)

The colors are gorgeous! I made a shawl in a similar design and it IS so satisfying to drop those stitches and run them! LOL! It's beautiful to see it in a finer yarn & smaller project. Lovely!
