yardage: ~202yds
plying: navajo plied

Too bad I couldn't get more of this fiber. It was lovely to spin with and the color is beautiful. No clue what to do with it, so in the bin it goes.

As of April 29th, I've crochet all squares for the Babette blanket. I've started to assemble them. Crocheting those 126 squares was fun and not boring. I worked in the ends as I finished them. Assembling them is the hard part.

Yum Yum Yum. No doubt it was all that beautiful colour that kept you from getting bored. Can't wait to see the finished product. Another heir loom in the making. Cheers. Loan

I can't WAIT to see the finished product! I am far too entirely obsessed with Granny Squares.
BEAUTIFUL!
Ohhh , that handspun is just gorgeous , love the colour, don't blame you for wanting more !
The Babette will be stunning when you've put it all together ; looking forward to the photos .
Have a good day !
Cannot wait to see Babette as you assemble it. The squares are gorgeous. And your handspun is, as always, so beautiful.
A beautiful pile of Babette squares!
I'm also looking forward to see finished Babette! Nice colours again.
Gorgeous yarn! Those squares are beautiful. Not to rush you or put pressure on you, but I can't wait to see it finished!
I've always thought Babette was a lovely-looking pattern. Your squares confirm it. I have a very specific way of crocheting the squares together to have the fewest ends possible. It would be interesting to lay it out for Babette. I'm looking forward to seeing the final pics. Gillian
ooOOoooh, look at all that luscious squarage going on there! the Babette will be the first blanket i make (when i finally get around to making a blankie, that is) and you further inspire me to get cracking on one :)
Your Babette blanket is going to be something spectacular all sewn together! Love, love, love the colors.
And your spinning is also beautiful ~ the bamboo is sooooo nice at giving rich colors and soft texture.
Those squares look great. Can't wait to see the whole blanket. Isn't it funny how some color can make an otherwise boring pattern so much fun?
Beautiful colours, and very nicely spun! When I N-ply, I always get bumps where the chains join. Must practice more. :-)
Such lovely Navajo plying. The color of the fiber is beautiful too.
Can't wait to see Babette all sewn up. I envy all of the crocheters who have the attention span to make that blanket. It is such a wonderful pattern.
Hi Monika!
The yarn is fantastic. I love your handspun.
And I just can't wait to see your Babette Blanket finished!!!
The yarn looks like a tropical ocean. Just want to dip my feet in! And I can't believe how fast your Babette is crocheted. I'm still winding yarn. :-)
I have knit plenty of squares in my time, but they all ended up in the bin. :(
Good luck with finishing your babette blanke. I'm sure it's going to be lovely.
Gorgeous fibre, GORgeous yarn you spun from it!
Wow... all those squares! and what beautiful colours!
Wow! The handspun is beautiful. I'm looking forward to seeing your finished Babette.
Good luck with your assembling! That's a lot of beautiful squares :)
Oh my goodness you are about 100 squares ahead of me and I started last September. Beautiful!
That is going to be a beautiful afghan--love the colors!

Beautiful before and after pictures! I can hardly wait to see the finished Babette. It's really a stunning pattern.
Great spin!
eI don't know how you do it, but each blanket seems better than the last!
I really really love this yarn! So uniform! And of course, it's my favorite blues shades!
Your Babette is lovely! My daughter is working away on the tiny squares for hers. She absolutely swooned over the pattern - thank-you!
I can't believe how beautiful you can spin yarn. It looks almost like industrial made yarn.
I love the squares, can't wait to see it finished.
Oh my! This is going to be gorgeous. I'm joining the crowd and can't wait to see it.
