That's what I'll do if I ever get bit by the spinning but--I've got 5 bags of undercoat from my heart-dog waiting to be turned into yarn. And if their undercoat is white, you'll have the most beautiful yarn.T-Momhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09598655128676657203noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25604704.post-2562242091539330122007-05-23T13:54:00.000-04:002007-05-23T13:54:00.000-04:00Hallo Monika, als ich Deine neuen Quadrate gesehen ...Hallo Monika,

Viele Grüsse von HeikeAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25604704.post-51645514010336662992007-05-23T12:22:00.000-04:002007-05-23T12:22:00.000-04:00I quite like that second square #24. Keep practicing though cuz you are doing MUCH better than I ever could (we tried to spin in a fibers class in college).shannonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01840367817922487686noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25604704.post-88390843166906997762007-05-23T12:04:00.000-04:002007-05-23T12:04:00.000-04:00Love that last square.....it looks like a map of m...Love that last square.....it looks like a map of my thought pattern!! :-)Tracy Purtscherhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14330246026472319794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25604704.post-27570155784219650402007-05-23T11:50:00.000-04:002007-05-23T11:50:00.000-04:00It actually looks pretty good though! I actually d...It actually looks pretty good though! I actually draft the heck out of the wool before I spin it. If I want it smaller I split it lengthwise before drafting. I also have to confess, I don't normally let the spindle spin. I like to spin it and then stop it, specially for lace weight, that way I can control the size of the yarn. Your spindle is beautiful! I've been looking into getting a new one, not cause I need it mind you. But, I'm not going to tell me husband that :D.Teresahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17201552896428729496noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25604704.post-72565774974020224822007-05-23T07:36:00.000-04:002007-05-23T07:36:00.000-04:00I think your spinning is coming along nicely. Not...I think your spinning is coming along nicely. Nothing wrong with a bit of "sit and park". The best advise I was given when I first started spinning, (as you know that was not very long ago), was to do it for at least 20 minutes a day. I really improved quickly once I did that.
I still love that Forrester spindle. If you keep showing such pretty photos of it, as well as talking about how well it spins, I may not be able to control myself. I'll have to dash over to their website and buy one for myself! As if I need another spindle!!Kirstenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08025014995771360052noreply@blogger.com
